This was the headline of the Drudge Report today.  The unbelievable hypocrisy, deception, out right lying and unmitigated B.S. of this is breathtaking.  B. Hussein O. and his inapt, corrupt, and failed administration has created the environment for the "War on Christmas" for the last 7 years.  Now because he, his lock step mind numbed followers, and the butt boys and girls in the mainstream "maggot" media realize the folks are on to him, the bait & switch hand quicker than the eye strategy comes.  THEE is not falling for this crap.  What about you?          www.thee.org

BELIEVERS OR MAKE BELIEVERS

Are we believers or make believers?  When the going gets tough, do the tough get going?..... or do we go to the lake, the beach, or take in a ball game?  When Christians are killed because they are Christians, what do we do?  In the old days it happened a long way away across the ocean and it seemed quite abstract; but no more.  Now it is happening on the west coast and will be coming to a town near you soon.  Unless......... you DO SOMETHING!  Oh my, what to do you say??  In the short run, you arm yourself and your family.  If you are untrained in this area, get trained.  Avoid stupid "gun free zones".  I told my banker the other day that instead of the stupid sign on the door that said, "no weapons allowed", he should put one up that said: "no robberies allowed".  It would make about as much sense.  I also told him I would not be back until they either removed the stupid sign or put in a metal detector so that I knew I would not be one of the human targets in there when the "bad guy" with a gun came in to shoot up the place and there would be no one to return fire.  Does this sound harsh?  Try this:  Death Kills!  Do I sound angry?  Maybe it's because I am and you should be, too.  If I had thought becoming a Christian meant I had to become stupid also, I may have reconsidered. 

In case you have not noticed, it is open season on Christians all over the world including the good ole USA.  Now that we have an administration that cares more about offending radical extremists than protecting American citizens and law enforcement officers, all bets are off. 

In the immediate run, come 2016, Americans, led by Christians, best elect leaders who will put America and its citizens first and foremost and put some emphasis on Borders, Culture, and Language for a change.  America became great through legal immigration and assimilation, not through  the political correctness and unsecured borders of today.  There are more than enough Christians in America today to make our will be felt.  Problem is that far too many are all talk and no action.  There is a prayer in the Book that talks about "His will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven".  As a Christian, do you think "His Will" is to murder innocent babies and sell their body parts to the highest bidder?  As a Christian, do you think "His Will" is to allow a government to take away God given rights?  As a Christian, do you think "His Will" is to have us sit by and do NOTHING as other Christians are slaughtered around the world and now in America only because they are Christians???  And then we are expected to buy the nonsense peddled by the corrupt media directed by the most corrupt administration in my lifetime that it's "workplace violence" or caused by a "video" or any lie that will work on a population drunk on "American Idol", Dancing with the Stars", and College / NFL Football.  I'm not attacking these entertainment programs nor sports.  I'm only trying to tell you that we are being played and taken advantage of because Americans are good and decent people.  Our leaders for the most part are the BIGGEST part of the problem.  We deserve better.  The good news is we can STILL do something about it.

CHRISTIANITY OR CHURCHIANITY? FREEDOM OR TYRANNY?

Is "Churchianity" killing Christianity or is it just severely damaging it.  Either way it could not be happening at a worst time.  The return to Judeo/Christian values in America and the civilized world for that matter is needed more than ever and the Christian Church seems to be MIA.  I don't mean to be overly critical but then again maybe I should.  Maybe we all should.  After all the Church was supposed to go into the world to do "good"; not "very well"!  I look at some of the Churches today and think they are monuments to architectural design.  I am all for creature comforts and prosperity but often the un-churched and most in need are driven by on the way to one of these magnificent structures.  Actually, that is the least of my complaints with the "Church" today.  My major problem is how the Church can for the most part, remain silent in the face of the unspeakable atrocities being rained down on fellow human beings, God's people.  Women and Children as young as 6 and possibly even younger are being raped and sold into slavery and the Church remains silent.  Men are beheaded, burned alive, crucified and just simply shot to death and the Church remains silent.  Millions of babies are murdered before birth and their body parts sold to the highest bidder and the Church remains silent.  What is going on?  Not much!  To be sure, there are some Churches and pastors who are NOT remaining silent BUT they are the exception, not the rule.  IT SHOULD BE THE OTHER WAY AROUND!!

All my life, I have heard "Christian Values" this and "Christian Values" that.  As a child in the 1950s and 1960s and growing up in the only Jewish family in a three county area, I heard it a lot.  I certainly had no idea what "Christian Values" were.  As a college student in the late 1960s and as a young entrepreneur in the early 1970s I really didn't care because I was an agnostic.  Today as an old man and a Christian, I really do care and I am very troubled at what I see. 

People seem to go to Church to be entertained.  Recently I heard a very bright pastor make the charge that people often complain that "they didn't get anything" out of the sermon or message that day.  He went on to say that you are not supposed to come to Church to "get something" but rather to "give something". And he was not talking about the collection plate.  Is it possible that the Church has lost its way?  Is it any wonder that the nation has lost its way??  There was a time in my life when I thought Churches were bad things and clearly unnecessary.  I was very wrong.  Churches are good things and not only necessary, but vital to the survival of mankind.  BUT.......... Churches must get back into the business of Christianity.  Christian Values must become a reality and not a talking point for a good sermon.  The pulpit must return to the place where pastors speak out boldly on issues of our time from a perspective of Judeo/Christian Values.  Political correctness has no place in a pulpit much less a Church.  Given the unspeakable horrors being committed by humans against humans today, how can pastors and their Churches remain silent?  Will it be Christianity or Chuchianity?  Freedom or Tyranny? 

 

COURAGE, CHARACTER, CLASS ..... Guiding Light Church

The Guiding Light Church in Birmingham, Alabama was the host Church for a weekend event in that city that could / should be the beginning of a new awakening in America.  This great Church made up of incredible people led by Bishop Jim Lowe is taking the lead in "working on the solution" rather than "on the problem".  I have visited Guiding Light 4 times in 3 weeks and am more impressed each time.  The people exuded a genuine warmth and welcome that is contagious. 

The event featured Glenn Beck and Bishop Lowe speaking to a packed sanctuary at the Church Friday night with 3 to 4 thousand people watching outside on big screen TVs as the 1700 seat sanctuary overflowed.  The "Never Again is Now,  "Restoring Unity", and "All Lives Matter" themes were overpowering. The next day there was a march for these themes that retraced the steps of Martin Luther King's famous 1963 march and by conservative estimates had a minimum of 20,000 participants which made it the largest march since the MLK Civil Rights March of 1963.

Following the march there was another rally at the Birmingham Jefferson County Civic Center to a packed house with inspirational speakers including Glenn Beck, Bishop Lowe, David Barton, Jon Voight, Alveda King, Minister Jonathan Gentry and others plus music by Matthew West and the Guiding Light Church Choir.  Time nor space allows for the high points of this event as they were too numerous to list in this post.  I would refer you to GlennBeck.com, or MercuryOne.com or Guiding light.org for details.

The points I want to make are the courage, character, and class exhibited by the Bishop and his congregation as the host Church for this event.  From start to finish this was a CLASS ACT!  The icing on the cake was yesterday morning when Glenn Beck and Bishop Lowe preached at the Sunday morning service at the Church.  Bishop Lowe is an exceptionally special man of God with great courage to take such a bold leadership role in "standing for truth and righteousness".  His congregation exhibited the gold standard in "service to others" by welcoming many and making all feel genuinely "at home" and truly welcome.  Special thanks to "Mama" Doris Gary and Bishop Lowe's Mother, Roberta, two beautiful ladies inside and out, who took such good care of me.

On any given Sunday, Guiding Light Church in Birmingham, Alabama is a predominantly Black church. On this Sunday, Guiding Light Church was "color blind" and as the camera swept over the crowd of followers of the Nazarene, Bishop Jim Lowe so brilliantly stated: "This is what Church is supposed to look like"!  Well Done Guiding Light Church of Birmingham, Alabama! Well done indeed!!

ILLEGAL CHILDREN OF GOD

Human beings are pouring into America from our southern border with Mexico.  Some are from Mexico, some are from other Latin and Central American countries and some are from ????????  Many of these human beings are children.


Call these human beings illegal angels.  Call them illegal children of God. Call them illegal visitors. Do you really think that not calling them illegal ALLIENS will satisfy the "no borders, no culture, no country" people who are more interested in pandering for votes and cheap labor than protecting our sovereign existence as a nation?  If your answer is yes, please contact me immediately as I have a prime piece of "ocean front property in Arizona" that I would like to sell you at a great price.  The correct answer to the above posed question is "of course not"!  The reason is because the emphasis should be on the adjective and not the noun.  Hopefully our young are still being taught the difference between adjectives and nouns in our "politically correct, agenda driven, global warming, bash America corrupt government schools. (This is not an attack on the millions of wonderful great teachers but rather on the corrupt administration leaders and union  bosses at the top). 


The key word in this matter is illegal!  They are all human beings and worthy of respect as such.  Accordingly, it matters not what you call them after illegal!  That is because illegal vs legal is really the issues.  But once again, the real issue is camouflaged by thinking and reasoning influenced by ideology and emotion rather than by intelligence and critical thinking. 


Here once again both political parties have failed WE THE PEOPLE.  You know, the guys and gals picking up the tab.  One party has no soul while the other has no backbone.  Pretty lousy choice given the current situation.  What to do...... what to do??  3rd party???     Nope!  Not feasible at this time in history.  Disengage??  NO!!!  The last thing we need is more apathy!  Change one of the parties?  Perhaps!  Take a deep breath and commit the thought to your subconscious mind and go on with your day.


We are all immigrants.  I know we have heard that until we are sick of it but it is true.  My grandfather escaped from Russia in 1903 at the age of 13 during the time of the Czar when Jews like him were being persecuted.  My grandmother came from Hungary. Both came to America in search of freedom and the opportunity for a better life.  They came LEGALLY!  Most of you reading this post, have similar stories.  We need not fear immigrants and immigration.  We must fear and stop illegal immigrants and immigration. This illegal activity also ignores the importance of assimilation.  The very thing that helped make America great has the potential to destroy her which is precisely why the rich and powerful America haters like George Soros and others are pushing this agenda.  Add two political parties, one looking for votes and the other looking for cheap labor and you have a receipt for disaster for WE THE TAXPAYERS. 


We caused the problem!  Now we must fix it!  We caused it by looking the other way for eons while our political prostitutes masquerading as statesmen and stateswomen played their game. Now we must fix it by choosing candidates for the Senate and House as well as the  Presidency in 2016 who will take a leadership role in stopping the madness surrounding this issue. The southern border must be secured as close to 100% as possible.  Legal immigration should be expedited and expanded if and as necessary to meet the labor demands while creating an environment where American citizens are incentivized to take these so called "undesirable" jobs.  I worked some pretty crummy jobs in my early years while moving up the job / career ladder. Actually there is no job that lacks dignity as long as there is "a fair day's work for a fair day's pay".  The problem today is there are people refusing low skill jobs when they often have NO skills because of government handouts to able bodied people in exchange for votes.  The message for the party with  no soul:  "You reap what you sow".  The message for the party with no backbone:  "You reap what you sow".  There is only 1 side to the truth, folks, and that is that the vast majority of human beings in America including Latinos favor securing the border first and foremost and then dealing with the human beings here illegally in a humane, rational, fiscally sound, morally based manner using reasoning based on intelligence, not ideology, and guided by Judeo/Christian values.

GOOD....... EVIL...... and NUETRAL???

In the words of the great song writer, poet, and artist, Bob Dylan, "It may be the devil or it may be the Lord, but you gotta serve somebody", he nails it.  We all serve one or the other directly or indirectly.  There is no other choice.  There is a good spirit in the world.  There is an evil spirit in the world.  There is no neutral spirit in the world.  When we act and react, are our actions being influenced by the good spirit or the evil spirit?  Don't misunderstand that I'm talking about being so heavenly in one's day to day interactions that one has no relevance to life on earth.  I personally believe that God expects us to be heavenly when we get to heaven but to be relevant while here on earth.  In order to do that we must deal in the world  but be influenced by the Heavenly Spirit.  I know it's not easy.  When someone figures out a way, please let me know.


I think the hard truth is that as long as we are human beings in the flesh, by definition, we are imperfect and will behave that way.  When someone becomes a "Born Again Christian" they do not become "perfect".  They merely become saved from that imperfection through Grace and nothing else.  Fast forward to the men and women "We The People" elect to public office to represent the rest of us.  Do we want people who are influenced by the good spirit or the evil spirit?  And how do we tell the difference?  I suggest we want the former and I think we can figure out the difference if we are not too lazy and/or apathetic.  The Bible clearly states: "A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit".  - Matthew 7:18 -  We have to invest the time and effort to separate the wheat from the chaff. But first we must care.  We must understand that we have a say and we must understand that we actually CAN make a difference.  Excellent case in point is what happened just this week in Tennessee concerning a school form being changed from "mother and father" to "parent 1 and parent 2".  The outcry from the citizens was so loud and swift that the misguided bureaucrats that came up with this garbage, were forced to put it in the can and at the street before the ink was dry on the forms.

WE HAVE THE POWER

Those of you who have never had the privilege and joy of loving and spending time with a horse,  would be amazed at the unbelievable power of these majestic animals, not to mention their personalities and intelligence.  Yet a 50 pound child can put a lead line around the neck of a horse that is not wild, and lead it like a kitten.  At that moment in time, that 1500+ pound powerhouse does not know its power.


Much is the case with "We The People" today.  Our duly elected government puts the regulations lead line around our collective necks and we turn into "serfs" instead of "citizens".  As Americans we are born FREE.  WE THE PEOPLE have given our consent to be governed but NOT to be driven off a cliff fiscally or into hell morally. 


Case in point:  The madness in Tennessee involving the school forms changing "Mother and Father" to "Parent 1 and Parent 2".  Even before I posted my "If I Had A Pulpit" post on face book this morning, the good, no "the great" people of Tennessee had beaten me to the punch!  Good for them.  The outcry from We The People shut down that "race" before the horses were settled in the starting gate!


THEE.ORG on the web and THEE.ORG on face book have been created SOLEY to promote Judeo/Christians values and the return of our cultural institutions, and in turn America, to those values.  It is 100% FREE!  What the people of Tennessee did overnight is the best example of what THEE is all about:  Ordinary citizens banding together as ONE to accomplish extra ordinary things.


I just received the news about the 7th and latest video being released concerning the harvesting of unborn baby parts.  If proven to be true, if we are really as civilized and advanced a species as we like to believe, Planned Parenthood will be completely investigated and either exonerated or prosecuted as was Dr. Gosnell who is currently spending the rest of his life in prison for the same offense.


When "We the People" allow the "lead line" to be put around our necks, we give our consent to the above mentioned harvesting of baby parts (possibly beyond "unborn" now) for profit to not only flourish but to be done with our taxes that we have consented to pay. We allow Christians around the world to be raped, burned alive, crucified, and beheaded for being "faithful". We allow our founding, history, and heritage as a nation whose citizen's unalienable right come from God, to be distorted, misinterpreted, lied about, and re-written in textbooks. We allow the "rule of law" to be subdued and suppressed for political gain.  We allow the abuse of the unborn, the elderly, the veterans, because I guess they have served their purpose. We have allowed our Judeo/Christian value system which made us a once great nation to be replaced with God only knows what? 


What happened in the great state of Tennessee today is proof positive of the fact that "WE THE PEOPLE" still have the power, but only if we use it.  It is proof positive of the overused term "slippery slope" when we start changing the definitions of "Mother and Father " to "Parent 1 and Parent 2.  That "slippery slope" applies to some other "fundamental" natural laws and traditions that we best think about given this self imposed suicide mission we have chosen. 


Wake up America! Before it's too late.  We do have the power............. but only if we shed the lead line!                        In the meantime: Kudos to Tennessee.  Go Vols!  (as an Ala fan.....that's tough)
 

"NEVER AGAIN" .......... IS NOW!

When many of us hear the term, "Never Again", we immediately think of the unbelievable atrocities committed on humanity by the Nazis in the late 1930s and early 1940s before America and its allies liberated the death camps while liberating Europe from Hitler's Third Reich which was terrorizing the civilized world.  As a Jew, "Never Again" has a special meaning.  It's even more chilling when one realizes that had Hitler possessed in 1940 the technology available today, there would not be a Jew left on planet Earth. 


Since those horrific years, throughout history there have been other "Never Again" Moments and times and even before.  When innocent people with black skin and white skin are lynched for no reason....... that's a "Never Again" Moment.  When Presidents, would be Presidents, Civil Rights leaders, and others are assassinated for no reason other than hate.......... that's a "Never Again" Moment.  When 4 little girls, some proud and loving parent's babies are violently killed in a bombing while in the safe confines of a House of God........  that's a "Never Again Moment".  When dozens of black youth are killed every weekend in Chicago mostly by other black youth in gang drug war violence and it doesn't even make the national news......... that's a "Never Again Moment".  When a police officer is gunned downed and killed while risking his or her life to serve and protect us........... that's a "Never Again Moment".  When an American Soldier makes the ultimate sacrifice defending our country and our freedoms whether on a distant battle field or at home at a recruiting center .......  that's a "Never Again Moment". When Christians are raped, burned alive, and beheaded in the world for no other reason than being faithful and we turn a blind eye....... That's a "Never Again Moment".   Finally, when millions of unborn citizens are murdered every year because they have no voice yet to make it known that they would "choose" life if only given the chance........ that is a "Never Again Moment"!  Unfortunately there are no shortage of these moments.




"Never Again is Now"!  Right now!  If we as civilized human beings don't rise and stand together as one (Red and Yellow; Black and White), we risk losing not just our freedoms but our way of life and even our very lives.  If that doesn't matter to you, think about your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. If it still doesn't matter, then God help you.  There are enemies outside and inside our once great nation that seek to divide us any and every way possible to weaken us because they know that united we are a force for good.  We have fallen into the trap and we must pull ourselves out.

The purpose of this event is to rally Churches, Synagogues, Pastors, Priests, Rabbis, Believers, People of Faith, and anyone who loves America to stand together and join together to be the beginning of the next "Great Awakening" so that "Never Again" is never again.

AND TO THE REPUBLIC FOR WHICH IT STANDS

In addition to pledging allegiance to the flag, we pledge allegiance to the Republic for which that flag stands.  If we stop for a moment and think about those words rather than just let them roll off our tongues before the event we are attending begins, they have deep meaning.  We are talking about some serious stuff here.  We are getting into the territory of the outcomes of college football games like Alabama / Auburn, Michigan / Ohio State, Notre Dame / USC, and Texas / Oklahoma.   On a dead serious note, we are talking about the "Rule of Law" which is getting down to basics in our form of government.  Are we a nation of laws?  Or, are we a nation of men and/or women??  Yes, I'm talking about the latest shoe to float to the floor relating to the ongoing email / private server issue involving Mrs. Clinton.  Putting aside politics, as Americans, if we don't get this right, we can flush politics along with everything else as it relates to the "Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave".  In 1972, Republicans had to suck it up, hold their noses with both hands, and deal with the Richard Nixon / Watergate issue for the good of the country and the survival of the Republic.  In 2015 Democrats must do the same concerning the investigation (full, complete, and exhaustive) into the email / private server issue concerning Mrs. Clinton.  I am not accusing Mrs. Clinton of anything, since I do not know the facts and truth and must reserve judgment until the investigation is complete.  I will say emphatically that when an American hero and patriot like General David Petraeus is humiliated and destroyed for what on the surface appears to be a similar and lesser offense, justice for the sake of the Republic must be sought. 
As an American who has voted for Republicans and Democrats, I ask all Americans to temporarily take off your Republican hats and your Democrat hats and put on your America hats and INSIST that this rock be turned over and everything underneath be analyzed and let the chips fall where needed. Period.  This is important, folks; very important.  If you are uniformed, please get educated on the facts when and if they come out.  If you are misinformed, please get educated on the truth when and if it comes out.  If you are one of those who don't care or think it doesn't matter, please move to another country.  This should be a BIG DEAL!   On a positive note: "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free"  - John 8:32 -

WHO'S KIDDING WHO?

Now that Senator Charles "Chuck" Schumer (D-NY) has announced his intention to vote against the Iran Nuke "capitulation" deal, many are all excited about the prospects of the Congress overriding the veto coming from the President in the near future.  Ah yes, the public,  that is the managed electorate, is poised for the next "peanuts" moment when Lucy does it, yet again, to poor ole Charlie Brown!  While I greatly respect Senator Schumer for, in my opinion, doing what is best for America, I am not fooled for a minute and neither should you be, that this "train left the station" long before the Senator bought his ticket much less boarded.  Regrettably, only after the left, led by their "head cheerleader" House Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), knew they had whipped the votes to sustain "their guy's" veto, was Senator Schumer given the OK to vote his conscience.  After all, think of the "optics" (a word I despise) had he done otherwise.  It's true, on its merits, no one would vote for such a bad deal.  Notwithstanding those that claim the only alternative is WAR (an insult to anyone whose thought process is guided by intelligence rather than ideology) it really comes down to one team winning for the sake of winning.  America be damned.  Listen carefully: You can hear the cheer, "BHO, BHO he's our man, if he can't do it, nobody can". "YEA TEAM!!  Presidential legacy is vital following a failed presidency unless one considers "transforming America" to be a success.  My high school football team recited a slogan just before we took the field before a game:  "United we stand - Divided we fall". America has certainly been transformed into a divided nation on many fronts. The leftist in America must feel very emboldened right now.  It remains to be seen if, in the end, they prevail.  Right now, in my view, they are certainly winning, but then our team has yet to "get off the bus"!  You know, if you are a guy, kissing your sister is nice, but there's no future in it.  (Can you say that today, or is that too politically incorrect?  I'm sure it offended someone!)

NO LIVES MATTER

Recently we have observed the latest leftist America hater campaign "Black Lives Matter", funded by a extreme leftist white America hater, being promoted by the left leaning media.  In actuality, in America today, no lives matter.  The "Black Lives Matter" movement is an insult to the intelligence of anyone with an IQ over 10.  Anyone who can think logically can see through this pathetic fraud.  If black lives matter to these America haters, why are they MIA when scores of black lives are violently ended every weekend in Chicago in gang related violence often in black on black killings?  Or why are these same vile liars and haters MIA when countless black babies are aborted every week and their body parts sold to the highest bidder by Planned Parenthood? Clearly it is because those lives really don't matter because they serve no political purpose to these haters masquerading as human beings.  Black lives matter only when and if they are ended by a police officer or a person who happens not to be black so that the death can be exploited for political gain.  It doesn't get any sicker than that.  But then, that's what we have become.  Is this what transforming America looks like?


It's not just black lives.  The unborn human beings being processed for sale by Planned Parenthood are all colors.  One could say that Planned Parenthood is an equal opportunity killer of the innocent.  At least they can't be accused of discrimination.  I know, its sickening to me too. 


It's the unborn today.  In the not to distant future it will be the very old and infirm.  After all, why keep us alive when we have ceased to contribute to "the greater good".  Never mind that most of us have paid our dues our entire lives and should have earned some respect.  But that's "old fashioned" thinking in today's modern hip world.  It's out with the old and in with the new.  That's what happens when a society loses its values and its soul.  I would like to remind those with that mindset of the epitaph on a tombstone in my hometown:  Where you are now, I once was; Where I am now, you once will be; Prepare yourself.

IF I HAD A PULPIT

If I had a pulpit...... On Wednesday nights and Sundays, in addition to preaching the Gospel, I would inform and educate my congregation about the Planned Parenthood situation.  The good, the bad, and the ugly.  The legal, the illegal, the criminal.  The similarities to what the Nazis did in places like Auschwitz, or Belzec, or Sobibor, or Treblinka; all death camps.  I would do my best to stick to the facts and keep emotion out of the discussion.  Good luck!  If my church had an audio and video system like some I have seen in churches that rival modern movie theaters, I would show the pictures and play the sounds of the smacking of eating a salad by PP officials (big shots, not staff members as lied about) while discussing the harvesting and selling of unborn human beings.... innocent babies for profit.  BTW - Planned Parenthood is supposed to be a non profit entity which is a requirement for qualifying as a tax exempt organization which receives a half BILLION dollars of our taxes annually.....but I digress.  I would show the pictures and play the sounds of the human beings' cries from the trains en route to the concentration / death camps in the late 1930s mentioned above.  I would show the pictures of the tiny human body parts in the sample dishes and play the sounds of the PP officials bartering and discussing "line items" as if ordering takeout food online.  I would implore my flock to put so much pressure on their Senators and Representatives to stop using our taxes for this genocide that they would fear for their re-election which is the only language some understand.
 
If I had a pulpit...... In addition to preaching the Gospel, I would teach about the founding of America. I would teach about George Washington knelling in prayer by his horse at Valley Forge. I would teach about Christ and the Continental Congress. The First Continental Congress and the first prayer in Congress on Wednesday, September 7, 1774; and the petition to King George III on October 26, 1774 to "lay our grievances before the throne".  I would teach about the Second Continental Congress and the 15 Proclamations from June 1775 to October 1783 which all demonstrated an unmitigated, unapologetic belief in the inextricable link between acknowledgment of God and Christianity on the one hand, and the survival of the Republic on the other.



If I had a pulpit...... In addition to preaching the Gospel, I would teach about the Federalist Papers.  No! Not about Federal Express! About the Federalist Papers and why they were and are so important to our Constitutional Republic.  They were in fact the original argument about the size and role of a central Federal Government.  Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay writing as "Publius"made a brilliant and convincing case in favor of the need for a Constitution and a Federal Government to do the things that could not be accomplished with the "Articles of Confederation".  Fact is, conservatives like me that are opposed to a big, bloated, over reaching, cumbersome, abusive, ineffective, corrupt Federal Government, are not anti-government at all.  We simply would like to see the Federal Government do what it was designed to do as in "enumerated powers" and leave the rest to the individual States and the people.  After all, that's how it was intended.  Today our Federal Government ignores its primary Constitutionally mandated functions like protecting We The People by controlling our borders and signs an irresponsible nuke deal with the number 1 sponsor of terror in the world whose leaders chant "death to America" after the deal, yet concentrates on regulating what goes into a happy meal at a fast food joint. But I digress again.




If I had a pulpit...... In addition to preaching the Gospel, I would teach about that first war, the Revolutionary War when ordinary people exemplified extra ordinary courage and sacrifice  to make us free.  I would teach about all the wars, courage, suffering, life changing injuries, and ultimate sacrifice made by staggering numbers of American boys and girls to keep us free. I would teach about the fact that Europe would be a very different place today, if it existed at all, if not for the Marshall Plan to rebuild after America saved it.  After all the disingenuousness (correction: Lies) of the leftist America haters, all the land America asked for in return was enough to bury her dead.   I would especially teach about the Civil War and the Vietnam War.  The Civil War because America went to war with herself to right a wrong.  America went to war with herself to free the very people who are now being used, abused, manipulated and lied to, again, by their own with a phony, calculated, ideologically driven "black lives matter" mob mentality funded by leftist white America haters. Truth is, America is the only country in the history of mankind, to go to war to end slavery; a condition that survives and thrives in the world today with nary a peep from those vile leftist America haters.  The Vietnam War because of the shameful treatment defecated on our American boys and girls who came home from a hell not of their choosing only to be spat upon, belittled, and berated by a bunch of  "useful idiots" too pampered, ignorant, and stupid to accept the truth that these boys and girls were honoring orders given by politicians.  Many made the ultimate sacrifice to keep us free and preserve the rights of the pampered, ignorant, and stupid to be such.  As free Americans, we should all hang our heads in shame for allowing this abuse!  Even today, incredibly courageous American boys and girls volunteer to go into harm's way to keep us free while the same vile, despicable leftist America haters attempt to destroy us from within. God help us!




If I had a pulpit......... In addition to preaching the Gospel, I would harp, stress, plead, and hound my flock to join together in our church and commit to God and one another that every person who is eligible, registers to vote and then does so in every election.  Further and most importantly, that every person commits to vote their Christian values.  We start by winning local school board elections and work our way up from there.  Once we take control of the education system and can dictate the curriculum, our young can once again be taught the truth about the founding of America and our true heritage, not to mention math, science, English, manners, and right from wrong. Moreover, the real truth about America including the good, the bad, and the ugly. In a quote attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville, "America is great because she is good," he didn't say America is perfect.  Despite all the attempts by enemies foreign and domestic, America is still the best hope for humanity on earth.

IT MATTERS NOT HOW YOU PLAY THE GAME, ONLY IF YOU WIN OR LOSE

I live in the state of Alabama where college football rocks and rules.  When you come to Alabama either by birth or relocation, one of the first things one must do is declare allegiance to Alabama or Auburn.  Once I overheard two people talking about the importance of the Alabama Auburn football rivalry:  One guy said "winning that game is a matter of life and death".  The other said, "oh no, it's much more important than that".  The real question is whether it's more important than the institution of college football, namely the game.  If one team is willing to win at all costs no matter what including lying, cheating, using players that are ineligible, or even bribing the officials, what happens to the game? 
On a more serious note: What happens when our nation operates on a win at all costs basis?  What happens when domestic policy, foreign policy, fiscal policy, moral policy, and everything else especially politics operates on this basis?  What happens to the game?  What happens to the country?
Look around!  Fact is our political parties have failed us.  One has no soul; the other has no backbone.  Every decision is based on party politics and the country be damned.  The concern is on buzz words like "optics" and "snap polling" for decision making by our so called leaders.  Congresspersons and Senators vote the "party line" most of the time so they can be loyal "team members".  Often they vote for legislation without having even read the bill.  The "cheerleaders" rush out to lead the cheers and whip the votes.  The home team must win at all costs.  Ideology overrules intelligence as haste make waste.  Long after the stadium empties and the lights are turned out, "We The People" are left to clean up the mess with our tax dollars. Case in point: half a BILLION dollars a year of our taxes go to Planned Parenthood for the institutionalized killing of the almost born and the selling of their body parts . Some of that $$ goes back to some "champion" like Nancy Pelosi who runs interference for PP and wins the prestigious prize of "PP Woman of the Year" award for her trophy case.
 Despite their flaws as human beings, our founding fathers were exceptionally brilliant.  They really devised a wonderful system and Constitution.  Notice I said wonderful., not perfect. In my humble opinion, one of the biggest errors they made was missing the fact that there would be those that would actually choose to make lifetime careers out of being "public servants" because the founders missed the point of servants becoming rulers as in "an elite ruling class".  For nearly a century "We The People" have stayed silent while our public education system has been dumbed down to the point at which our young not only do not know who "We The People" are but know practically nothing about the founding of our country and why it is indeed exceptional.  "We the People" have watched in silence as manners have been replaced by rudeness, decency replaced by crudeness, self reliance replaced by dependency, a hand up replaced by a handout, and Judeo/Christian Values replaced by anything goes.  Our civilized society is on the brink of being a footnote in history.  We must stop the madness.  We have all heard the expression "throwing the baby out with the bath water".  That's what happens when a Constitutional Republic abandons its Constitution and then says "the system is broken".  It's like a child killing its parents and then crying that he/she is an orphan.  After nearly seven years of "pushing a chain up the hill" and "chasing a penny with a nickel" maybe; just maybe its time to try restoring America to the Constitutional Republic by, for, and of the People that it was founded, created and blessed by God to be instead of attempting to transform Her into something never envisioned nor intended.  Actually we should be hopeful in that the mere fact that our republic has withstood this assault for so long yet still stands.  For ourselves, our children, their children, and future generations of Americans, We The People must rediscover America and decide if we want to Restore Her to the original model as designed or continue to transform into oblivion.   

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DEMOCRATS AND SOCIALISTS

By now many of you have heard about the exchange between cable T.V. personality Mr. Chris Matthews and Democratic National Committee Chairperson, Debbie Wasserman Shultz, concerning the difference between Democrats and Socialists.  For those who missed it, Mr. Matthews asked Ms. Shultz that very question and for some reason, she seemed to have great difficulty giving him an answer, quickly or otherwise.  She finally deflected the question into the difference between Democrats and Republicans.  At a time in the immediate future the same scenario repeated itself with another T.V. personality, Mr. Chuck Todd, of a broadcast television network.  I'll leave it to you to decide why Ms. Shultz, the Chairperson of the Democratic National Committee, appeared to struggle with what seems to little ole me, a rather simple straight forward question.  Now, if I were a Republican, which I am not, I would immediately and forcefully plead guilty to at least one of the charges so eloquently brought by Ms. Shultz about the difference between the Democrats and the Republicans.  Ms. Shultz charged that the Republicans want to put more emphasis on public education by the private sector rather than the government.  OK...... using intelligence rather than ideology, let's analyze this from a results oriented perspective.  When I graduated high school in 1965 (yes I'm old), America was ranked NUMBER 1 in the world in math and science and NUMBER 1 in the world in education overall.  In 1979, the now 2nd worst President in the history of our republic, Mr. Jimmy Carter, for reasons to be discussed in a later post, gave us the Federal Department of Education thus taking control away from local and state officials and moving it to the central federal government.  Fast forward to the present and untold TRILLIONS (with a T) of dollars later. America is presently, depending on whose numbers you use, ranked 25th or so in math and science and 30th or so, give or take 5 or 10, in education overall.  After all, "what difference at this point does it make?", but I digress.  As a businessman, I guess I can say businessman and not businessperson, without offending some ideology, those are results that I would avoid like a black hole. In the business world (evil private sector) those kinds of results will lead to bankruptcy unless you are "too big to fail" or "too corrupt to fail" or some other mindless "chosen" by the ruling class and the emperor. So, once again, If I were a Republican, which I am not, I would plead guilty as charged by Ms. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chairperson of the Democratic Committee. Having said all of this, there is still hope. As people of faith, we are the largest voting bloc in America, and we can change the culture.

WHEN A NATION LOSES ITS SOUL

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN IDEOLOGY TRUMPS INTELLIGENCE?  YOU GET ASININE STATEMENTS LIKE: "IT DEPENDS ON WHAT THE DEFINITION OF 'IS' IS".  OR "WE MUST PASS THE BILL SO WE CAN SEE WHAT'S IN THE BILL". OR "THE VIDEOS ARE THE WORK OF EXTREMISTS"....... I COULD GO ON AND ON AND ON BUT MOST GET THE POINT AND SINCE I AM A SENIOR AMERICAN, I MIGHT PASS BEFORE I COULD FINISH THE POST.  WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A NATION LOSES ITS SOUL?    RARELY AM I AT A LOSS FOR WORDS AND NEVER AM I SURPRISED AT THE SPINELESS, STUPID, LOW LIFE, BACKSTABBING, MORONIC THINGS THAT OUR POLTICICAL PROSTITUTES WHO MASQUARADE AS STATESMEN AND STATESWOMEN DO.  I MUST SAY THAT THE CURRENT SITUATION INVOLVING THE NAZI STYLED INSTITUTIONALIZED HARVESTING OF UNBORNED BABY PARTS FOR SALE NOT ONLY TAKES AWAY MY WORDS, BUT MY VERY BREATH.  HOW CAN WE AS CIVILIZED GOD FEARING PEOPLE TOLERATE THIS GENICIDE?  WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A NATION LOSES ITS SOUL?  THE FOLLOWING QUOTE ANSWERS THIS QUESTION AND IT COMES FROM AN EYE WITNESS WHOSE CHURCH WAS NEXT TO THE RAILROAD TRACKS IN GERMANY

IF YOU WERE TO JUMP OFF THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING AND MAKE IT TO THE GROUND, YOU SHOULD TAKE COMFORT IN KNOWING THAT IT WASN'T THE FALL THAT KILLED YOU - IT WAS THE SUDDEN STOP.  THAT IS ABOUT HOW MUCH SENSE THE UNMITIGATED CRAP THAT SPEWED FROM THE WHITE HOUSE MOUTHPIECE JOSH EARNEST'S MOUTH RECENTLY CONCERNING THE "FRADULENT WAY THE VIDEOS WERE OBTAINED" RELATING TO THE NAZI LIKE ATTROCITIES BEING CARRIED OUT BY PLANNED PARENTHOOD.  WE ARE BEING TOLD BY THIS PAID POLITICAL PROSTITUTE TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT THE PROCESS BUT NOT THE ACT.  NO WAY, DIRT BAG!!   AS FOR THE "HEAVY EDITING" CLAIM BY THE ACCESSORY TO THE CRIME BUNCH, I HAVE SEARCHED THE DICTIONARIES CONCERNING THE WORD "EDIT" AND FIND ALL SORTS OF DESCRIPTIONS SUCH AS "CORRECTING, REWRITING, UPDATING, REDRAFT, REVISE, REWORK, AMEND, COMPILE, ISSUE, PRINT, PUBLISH".  NOWHERE, REPEAT, NOWHERE IS THERE ANY MENTION OF "ADDING TO, CHANGING, PUTTING WORDS INTO ONE'S ROTTEN MOUTH, OR ANY OTHER DEFINITION THAT TAKES AWAY FROM THE TRUTH OF THE BRUTAL, BARBARIC, AND YES I'LL SAY IT AGAIN "NAZI LIKE" ATTROCITIES BEING CARRIED OUT BY PLANNED PARENTHOOD.  IF THERE ARE ENOUGH SICK PEOPLE IN AMERICA TO FUND THIS BUTCHER SHOP, SO BE IT; BUT WE WILL ALL BE DAMNED IF WE CONTINUE TO ALLOW OUR TAX DOLLARS TO BE USED TO FUND THIS GENICIDE. THE GOLDEN RULE "RE-DEFINED"

Once upon a time the golden rule went something like this:  "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".  Increasingly today it would go something like this:  "Those that have the gold, make the rules".  In this instance gold relates to power and influence.  In our form of government power and influence should belong to "we the people". In theory, this is how a "Represented Republic" form of government is designed to work.  Unfortunately, today as never before the "gold" is in the hands of an elite class of professional career politicians who pretend to be statesmen and stateswomen while actually behaving like rulers. I do not believe our founding fathers could have imagined in their worst nightmare "we the people" to be led in this manner. Every founding document indicates the founders always intended that our government be "of, by, and for the people" and that we be represented and led by CITIZEN REPRESENTATIVES who served for a reasonable period of time and then came back to the "real world" being replaced by another citizen from the real world.  So today I want to pose a question to Believers; People of Faith; Christians:  UNTIL SUCH TIME THAT OUR SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT (REPRESENTED REPUBLIC) CAN BE RESTORED  TO THE SYSTEM ENVISIONED AND CREATED BY OUR FOUNDERS... WHO DO YOU WANT MAKING DECISIONS AND LAWS AFFECTING VITUALLY EVERY ASPECT OF YOUR LIVES, AS WELL AS YOUR CHILDREN'S AND GRAND CHILDREN'S LIVES:  MEN AND WOMEN WHO SHARE YOUR JUDEO/CHRISTIAN VALUES OR MEN AND WOMEN WHO DO NOT?  IT'S REALLY THAT SIMPLE.  Our founding fathers warned us of the disaster we would encounter if we allowed political parties to overtake the Constitution but we allowed it anyway, and the results are even worse than they could have imagined.  Today we have two political parties that are vile and worthless.  One has no soul and the other has no backbone.  Generally speaking they care much more about party politics than the country, the Constitution, or "we the people".  Time and space allows for only one specific example in this post.  Regardless of which side of the "pro-life" "pro-choice" debate you are on  (actually, everyone is "pro-choice"; it's just some of us choose life and some choose death); the events unfolding before our eyes regarding the atrocities' of the harvesting of unborn innocent babies' vital organs and human tissue should cause everyone to examine not just their faith but their humanity.  Men and women who will defend this barbaric behavior under any circumstances cannot be influenced and guided by Judeo/Christian values. Why THEE and Why Me?

Why THEE?  THEE (Truth.Hope.Engaging.Evangelicals) exists because I sincerely believe that the greatest experiment in human freedom is in real danger of becoming extinct.  The United States of America, as founded, is the only government in the history of mankind that recognizes the fundamental truth that the people's rights actually come from a power greater than government.  People of faith believe correctly, in my view, that this power is an Almighty God. Personally as a Completed Jew, I believe God to be the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit; all who are One because in the beginning He said "I AM"!
THEE recognizes that there are other faiths and people of good will and we all should be free to believe or not whatever we choose so long as our faith, beliefs, and actions do not harm others.  THEE knows that it is historically accurate that America was founded upon Judeo/Christian values.  THEE believes that this value system at its core stands for love, truth, hope, justice, fairness, goodness, compassion, respect, harmony, charity and all other traits that a civilized society recognizes as positive character traits in human beings.  Simply put, Judeo/Christian values teach us the difference between right and wrong.  Moreover, without this value system and mankind's willingness to not only be accountable to society but also to God; human freedom and existence for that matter, cannot be sustained.
Why Me?
That is a real puzzlement.  In fact, for those of you old enough to remember the TV series, "The Life of Riley"; Chester Riley's famous line: "what a revolting developement" applies here.
At the age of 6 months in 1947, my family moved from New York City to a very small town in rual L.A. (Lower Alabama).  Growing up in the only Jewish family in a three county area, who would imagine that I would be writing this blog 67 years later?  Certainly not me!  After a "close encounter of the worst kind"; a very near death experience, the "Grand Tour Guide" has been leading me on a very long and scenic journey.  THEE has been in the making for 40 years; I just didn't know it.  Bottom line:  I really don't know why me or why I have been given this assignment.  All I know is that I know that I know.  After spending 10 years questioning my sanity wondering if the year of heavy pain killing drugs during my recovery had fried my brain, I finally got the answer to the nagging question lodged in my mind:  "If it was out of their hands, then whose hands was it in?" That's what the lead doctor told my young bride of 5 years when we were 27 years old.  As doctors they had done all they could do and more massive dosages of steroids to keep me alive, would in fact, kill me.  They were forced to "turn it over".  It took me over 30 years to do the same.
So - where is THEE going?  I haven't a clue.  There is comfort in riding as a passenger on this bus since every time I take the wheel, I run it into the nearest ditch.  The completion of the website THEE.ORG. was the next task of my assignment and now I will wait in prayer: "Call upon me and I will show thee great and mighty things which you know not" - Jeremiah 33:3 -
Finally, I want to acknowledge and thank those who have influenced me directly or indirectly to this point of this incredible journey.  It is really impossible to do so adequately since this has been so long in the making.  I will, however, attempt to share a very few that stand out:  My sweet Godly wife who continues to be my "shelter from the storm" for 45 years and counting; My children for Being examples of these values and being part of the solution; Pastor Ken Schroeder (First Baptist Church of Mandeville, LA) who shared his pulpit. Prior to Pastor Ken, I couldn't get a speaking engagement in my own living room.  Many authors such as Andy Andrews, Dr. Ben Carson, Dr. Timothy Daughtry & Dr. Gary Casselman and others too numerous to mention;  many speakers also too numerous to mention; The late Norman Messenger who rescued me when I was at an all time low; My late grand parents; My late parents; My late mother-in-law who was very special; my closest friend; and last but certainly most, Almighty God.  Clearly I want to give any and all credit to anyone whose ideas, words, or writings I may have used or may continue to use and if by chance there is anything in the past, present or future concerning THEE that could smack of originality, that credit rightfully goes to Almighty God.
